Dressed for the cold

Ian's prepared for the cold

Ian’s prepared for the cold

Ian left us on Sunday to work in Toronto for three months. We’ll see him once every two weeks, which is more often than the visits enjoyed by families with a member in the military forces, but it’s still not frequent enough for our liking. To make matters worse, Toronto is a wee bit chillier than California. While the children wore summer clothes at the airport, Ian was kitted out for snow and temperatures of -11oC/12oF. And he still froze when he left the airport at the other end. Brrrrr!

  1. Good Luck, Ian and to the rest of you – you have my sympathy! You’ll find out all the things you like about Ian while he’s away, and be able to ignore all the things that irritate you when he comes back! xxx
